Life Lab is a program offered to all elementary students. Instructor Michelle Reber reflects: "As a Life Lab teacher my wish is for each student is to walk away with a deeper respect for nature and all of its living things. It’s a chance for kids to learn just where their food comes from. It’s grows in a garden, in the earth. They learn the fruits and vegetables the eat don’t just magically appear wrapped packages at the grocery store. By coming to the garden and planting, maintaining, harvesting and then eating what they’ve grown, its hands on learning by doing.

"Life Lab grows community, a love for plants, animals, nature sciences and art. Life Lab is a great place for kids to learn and grow."
