High School Summer Classes

There are 3 different summer programs available running over the course of 6 weeks. The 6 weeks is divided into 3, two week long sessions. There are also 2 different blocks of time available to attend these summer programs. Students can be enrolled in both a morning and an afternoon block or they can just attend one of these blocks.

The 3 High School summer programs are:

  • Credit Recovery (for students needing to retake a course to graduate) - requires registration for all 3 sessions, which is 6 weeks long. Once a student completes their credits, they can stop attending. Most students require a minimum of 4 weeks to complete one 5 credit course.

  • Math Support (Math Summer Bridge for incoming 9th graders to prepare for Integrated 1 & Math Boosters for current high school students taking Integrated 1, 2 or 3). The Math Booster program can be taken for 1, 2, or 3 sessions.

  • Electives.  If taking an elective, you can register for 1, 2, or 3 sessions. If you register for 3 elective sessions, you can get 5 elective credits towards graduation. Each elective session is 2 weeks long. For information regarding which electives are available, see the flyer below.
