Harbor High was built in 1967 & serves 1,050 students.

In 2016, after almost 20 years without a Bond investment, the school needed help. Teachers, students, staff, parents & neighbors prioritized the need for a redesigned field & stadium, new roofs, a new pool complex, general modernizations and  heating/ventilation upgrades. We're well into the work of rejuvenating Harbor High & it's all thanks to you.

The Work.

Reimagined: A whole new Sports Stadium!

Gone are the days of muddy turf and temporary bleachers. You and Measure A have allowed Harbor Athletes to compete on a beautiful, sustainable field.

With new accessibility and solar panels to boot, you gave Harbor a beautiful home-field advantage.

Built: A New Aquatic Sports Complex

We moved & reimagined our pool! Our state of the art complex has had its grand opening. Our new pool is a new gem of campus, providing an elite venue & source of school pride.

Thank you for building midtown a home for aquatic sports!

Sustainability:

Going Green

We've filled our campus with efficient measures like bottle fillers and electric hand dryers and white roofing that radiates the least heat possible, as part of our environmental stewardship that had Harbor named a Green Ribbon School.

Committee

Harbor High Bond Site Committee

Bond work is informed by the local input of the Bond Site Committee, which is usually made up of families and staff. The Bond Site Committee meets regularly with the Bond Core Team who plans and undertakes work with the Architect & Contractor, and plans for work and strategic direction is presented to the Santa Cruz City Schools Board of Trustees for approval. The Bond Site Committee is a vital part of the process, discussing and reporting the needs and want of the school community.
