Soquel High was built in 1962, & serves 1,000 students.

In 2016, after almost 20 years without a Bond investment, the school needed help. Teachers, students, staff, parents & neighbors prioritized the need for a an expanded, redesigned library, modernized classrooms, a new pool complex, new fire & water systems and  heating/ventilation upgrades. We're well into the work of rejuvenating Soquel High & it's all thanks to you.

The Work.

Built: Our new Pool Complex

To provide an elite facility for aquatic sports, we built a state-of-the-art pool and surrounding complex to give our athletes a source of confidence & pride.

Thanks to Measure A, and you, we have been able to provide a home for competition and community at Soquel High.

To make a welcoming & beautiful place to study & learn we redesigned & modernized our library, providing a resource space in the heart of campus.

Thanks to Measure A and our community, our beautiful redesign gives students a quiet place to study, reflect & focus.

Committee

Soquel High Bond Site Committee

Bond work is informed by the local input of the Bond Site Committee, which is usually made up of families and staff. The Bond Site Committee meets regularly with the Bond Core Team who plans and undertakes work with the Architect & Contractor, and plans for work and strategic direction is presented to the Santa Cruz City Schools Board of Trustees for approval. The Bond Site Committee is a vital part of the process, discussing and reporting the needs and want of the school community.
